Autumnal Image Inspiration Winner and Top3

Servus and....PHEW! Choosing a winner and Top3 from all the gobsmackingly fantastic entries for my Autumnal Image Inspiration Challenge was incredibly hard - well, almost impossible for me this time!

You all have made me so proud and happy with your inspired and heartfelt projects you've entered. It is such a great reward as a challenge host to find what load of artful goodness my photographs were able to "spark" in you. Thank you so much! You have made this a really special and unforgetable challenge for me!

Make sure you don't miss this month's challenge "go RUST-ic!" which is hosted by lovely Laura this time - you will definitely like this one just as much as you obviously liked mine! It is open until October 28th and there's a prize sponsored by

http://www.thefunkiejunkie.com/

this time! So don't miss the chance to win a generous $25 voucher to spend at Linda's fab store!

The lucky winner of the Tando prize for the Autumnal Image Inspiration Challenge is -

 No.19 - Pamellia

Well done!!! Have fun with your Tando Creative goodies!

But now on to the winner and Top3....it was already very hard to narrow down your fab entries to only four favourites...but I definitely struggled with choosing the winning project among my two most favourite entries....You know that usually the challenge host picks her winner with Our Creative Corner, but as I had two projects which I equally liked and loved (and still do), I asked for a little help from the team this time.

So thanks to the votes of my wonderful and helpful teamies I am finally able to present THE challenge winner ("phew!" again ;). And it is....

"A Forest Alive"

http://lovelightandpeacebonnie.blogspot.co.at/2014/09/a-forest-alive.html

Bonnie managed to create a whole little forest-universe in itself - full of all the things there are to love about the forest: heavenly textures, colours, shapes, the tiny plants and creatures you only see when you look out for them and their magical whisper... and she managed to evoke that feel of diving into a world on its own when you look at her frame. I highly recommend you visit Bonnie's blog to take a look at all the close ups she provides - it really feels like taking a hike in her personal enchanted forest!

Thank you so much, Bonnie, for your wonderful and magical interpretation of my challenge! xxx

My close up followers and Top3 (in order of appearance in the collection) are:

Forest Fern and Colours card

http://ingridscraftscorner.blogspot.co.uk/2014/09/speed-craft-challenge-2-colour-themed.html

Ingrid did such a fabulous job with the Brushos! (Definitely have to have some too ;). I love the quote! And the background of this card looks like sunlight shining through the treetops (something I really love about the forest), doesn't it? The iridiscent sequins are the most clever and beautiful addition - such a tiny detail but it makes such an impact! See?

Vintagesavonette's

"Nature Heals" Assemblage

Manu's project is one of those creations I love to call "crafted poetry". I love that she has used bees wax to collage a selection of the most wonderful textural nature elements to her selfmade frame. The handle is such a wonderful detail that adds so much to this delicate project and I love the muted colour scheme! There's so much to discover...just like there is when you look at the forest ground ;)
I too am convinced that nature heals! It has its own powerful magic (if we are open to it)...and Manu definitely has captured some of that in her lovely assemblage, hasn't she?

"almost abandoned" project

http://paperisticplus.blogspot.com.au/2014/09/almost-abandoned.html

I just have to say how glad I am that RosA revived and finished her project as it is absolutely brilliant! She managed to encorporate almost all of the elements from the image inspiration...but in her very own individual way and so uniquely...which is a real adventure for me to see! I love how the textured frame holds it all in place and becomes part of the creation. It's great to see how she managed to have all the image details go together so naturally. She made a single image from my nine - and it works so well! I love it!

Don't forget about the current challenge - "go RUST-ic!", which is open until October 28th! The team and me would love you to join in and have you share some more of your fabulous art with us!

Also make sure to not miss the monthly Sponsor Spotlights! There's already a gobsmacking tag tutorial from Laura over HERE and some more tutorials are to come up soon (and of course revisiting the older ones is also more than worth it ;)!

Hugs and happy crafting,

Claudia xxx
